LCL – LESS THAN CONTAINER LOAD
- Smaller shipments whose volume does not warrant the use of an FCL
- Part of a consolidated container, with other shipper’s cargo
- After container unpacking at destination, each shipment delivered as loose cargo.
- Buyer’s consolidation. Making various suppliers LCL into an FCL. One consignee.
