LCL – LESS THAN CONTAINER LOAD

  • Smaller shipments whose volume does not warrant the use of an FCL
  • Part of a consolidated container, with other shipper’s cargo
  • After container unpacking at destination, each shipment delivered as loose cargo.
  • Buyer’s consolidation. Making various suppliers LCL into an FCL. One consignee.
